Issues with loading courses or content on Languagehood, don’t worry! Here are some steps you can follow to resolve the problem:

Updated today

1. Check Your Internet Connection

  • Solution: Ensure that you have a stable and active internet connection. If your connection is weak or intermittent, try moving closer to your Wi-Fi router or switching to a different network.

2. Refresh the Page

  • Solution: Sometimes, a simple refresh can resolve loading issues. Click the refresh button in your browser or press F5 (Windows) or Cmd + R (Mac) to reload the page.

3. Clear Your Browser Cache and Cookies

  • Solution: Cached files and cookies can sometimes cause problems when accessing new or updated content. Clear your browser's cache and cookies, then try loading the course again.

    • On Chrome: Go to Settings > Privacy and security > Clear browsing data.

    • On Firefox: Go to Options > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data.

    • On Safari: Go to Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data > Remove All.

4. Try a Different Browser or Device

  • Solution: If the course still doesn’t load, try accessing it through a different web browser (Chrome, Firefox, Safari) or on another device (computer, tablet, or smartphone).

5. Disable Browser Extensions

  • Solution: Some browser extensions (like ad-blockers) can interfere with content loading. Try disabling any extensions temporarily to see if that resolves the issue.

    • In Chrome: Go to Settings > Extensions and turn off the ones you suspect might be causing the issue.

    • In Firefox: Go to Add-ons > Extensions and disable them.

    • In Safari: Go to Preferences > Extensions and uncheck the extensions.

6. Ensure You’re Using the Latest Browser Version

  • Solution: An outdated browser can sometimes cause compatibility issues. Ensure your browser is up-to-date by checking its settings or preferences for updates.

7. Verify Your Subscription Status

  • Solution: Ensure that your subscription is active. To verify:

    1. Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the Languagehood dashboard.

    2. Select Billing from the dropdown menu to check your subscription status.

  • If your subscription has expired, you’ll need to renew it through the Account and Billing section.

8. Log Out and Log Back In

  • Solution: Log out of your Languagehood account and then log back in. This can often reset your session and fix loading issues.

9. Contact Our Support Team via Intercom

  • If none of the above solutions work, our support team is here to help! Use the Intercom chat feature on the support page to get in touch with us. Click the chat icon at the bottom of the support page, describe the issue, and our team will assist you promptly.
